People interpret cruelty free claims in many different ways and many make the claim purely for marketing reasons.

It is a legal requirement to place products on the market that are safe and stable for their intended use and most raw materials will at some time have been tested on animals.

As far as Ziggy's Pet Products, first and foremost we do not test our products on animals at any time. We test our products on ourselves and only when completely satisfied as to their effect do we use on our own pets. We also require our suppliers to confirm that they are not testing the ingredients supplied to us on animals.

As experienced cosmetic chemists, we carefully review each and every ingredient that we use in our products before making the selection.

We are committed to our cruelty free policy and as such, we not only choose our ingredients with great care, we test our products on our own skin and hair and only when we have that confidence do we look for comments from our testing panel.
